Job Title: Digital Marketing Assistant (Sandwich Student)

The overall purpose of the role is to support the delivery of the communications strategy within Real Good Food Plc. The role will have specific responsibility for implementation and management of Renshaw and Rainbow Dust branded social media pages, websites and emails as well as assisting the Marketing team with other marketing activity.

 

Principal Objective:

  1. Support the Marketing team with developing and delivering the communications strategy which underpins the business and marketing plans for the Renshaw and Rainbow Dust brands around the world.

 

Job Content (Specific):

  1. Manage all Renshaw and Rainbow Dust branded social media pages and all other associated activity related to this, including but not limited to:
    1. Interacting with baking professionals and industry experts to increase followers
    2. Coordinate and manage competitions via social media channels to increase exposure
  2. Support the delivery of a customer-focused Renshaw email strategy which builds a database to support the Renshaw brand around the world.
  3. Responsibility for content on various Renshaw and Rainbow Dust websites, this includes:
    1. Taking photos and videos of cake decorating tutorials and updating the website with these videos and images.
    2. Writing blogs for the Renshaw websites and all associated media to generate content and interest in the Renshaw brand.
  4. Analyse digital performance using appropriate metrics and report communications activity to the Consumer Communications Manager and the wider business.
  5. To ensure that communications are delivered consistently with Renshaw and Rainbow Dust brand values.
  6. When needed, provide support to the Marketing team preparing for and during events.
  7. Support the Marketing team and wider business by providing digital graphics for social media, website and print.
  8. Manage product stock levels within the Marketing team for social media giveaways and co-ordinate delivery of prizes.
  9. Collate trends reports for the Marketing team and wider business.

 

Job Content (General):

  1. To observe and conform with all company policies and procedures.
  2. To assist and support the Consumer Communications Manager in the delivery of their respective plans, as reasonably requested by them.
  3. Proactive and enthusiastic contribution to all aspects of the Digital and Marketing departments day to day functioning, always observing our RECIPE values.
  4. To be an effective ambassador for both the Real Good Food Plc, Renshaw and Rainbow Dust branded businesses.

 

Person Specification

  • Currently studying towards a Marketing (or similar) degree or qualification is essential.
  • High degree of literacy and strong social media skills are essential.
  • Strong communications skills with the ability to persuade and influence.
  • A team player with the ability to work both autonomously and establish strong working relationships within a group.
  • Experience in – or affinity with – food, baking, cake decorating would be advantageous.
  • Good interpersonal skills – must be friendly, approachable, enthusiastic and adaptable.
  • Effective communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Wider Marketing experience, particularly in creative communications is desirable.
  • Knowledge or experience of website CMS programs would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge and experience of photography using and video equipment would be desirable.
  • Knowledge and experience of using graphics design software would be desirable.
